Delete your account
You can delete your Eff Mirrors account (by Eff Mirrors [legal entity name]) and the data linked to it at any time, in the app or on this page. Photos in your phone's library are never touched.
Delete it in the app
The quickest way. You need to be signed in on your phone.
iPhone
- Open Eff Mirrors.
- Tap Settings, then Account.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
Android
- Open Eff Mirrors.
- Tap Settings, then Account.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.

No longer have the app? Enter the email address of your account. We will email you a link to confirm the deletion, so nobody can delete your account without access to your inbox. If you used Sign in with Apple with "Hide My Email", enter your private relay address.
Check your inbox
If an account matches this email, we've sent a confirmation link. Open it to confirm the deletion. The link expires, so use it soon.

What is deleted
- Your account: account ID, sign-in identifiers, email address, handle and display name.
- Presets saved to your account, with all their versions, and your share links (they stop working).
- Your listings in Discover, their sample photos, and your reviews.
- Capture verification metadata, device registrations and attestation keys.
- Reports you sent and accounts you blocked.
What is kept
- Photos and videos in your phone's library. We never had them, unless you published one as a sample, and those are deleted.
- Presets stored only on your phone, until you delete them or the app.
- Copies of your presets that other people already got stay in their own libraries.
- Anonymous device capability reports, if you opted in. They were never linked to your account.
- Records we must keep by law, such as copyright notices, only for as long as required.
When it happens

| Right away | Your account is hidden, you are signed out on all devices, and your listings and reviews are removed from Discover. |
| After 7 days | Your account and personal data are permanently purged from our database and storage. |
| Within 7 more days | Hourly backups that still contain your data age out. They are kept for up to 7 days. |
