We respect creators' rights. If a preset, sample or review in Eff Mirrors uses your work without permission, tell us and we will act on it.

Our policy

Eff Mirrors responds to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512) and similar laws. When we receive a valid notice, we remove or disable access to the material and let the person who posted it know. Signed-in users can also report a listing, sample or review in the app with theCopyright reason; see how to report content.

Send a copyright notice

Use the form below, or email the same information to our designated agent. A notice must include:

  • your name and contact details, and the organization you act for, if any;
  • a description of the copyrighted work you say is infringed;
  • the link to each item in Eff Mirrors you want removed (a share link or the Discover listing link), so we can find it;
  • a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or the law;
  • a statement that the information is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner;
  • your physical or electronic signature (typing your full name counts).

Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing can make you liable for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f). If you are not sure your rights are infringed, consider getting legal advice first.

Counter-notice

If we removed your content and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, email a counter-notice tocopyright@effmirrors.app with the subject "Counter-notice" and include:

  • your name, address, phone number and email, and your Eff Mirrors handle;
  • the material that was removed and the link where it appeared before removal;
  • the statement: "I swear, under penalty of perjury, that I have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.";
  • a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the U.S. federal district court for your address (or, if you are outside the United States, any judicial district in which Eff Mirrors [legal entity name] may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice or their agent;
  • your physical or electronic signature.

We forward valid counter-notices to the person who sent the original notice. Unless they tell us within 10 business days that they have filed a court action, we may restore the material 10 to 14 business days after we receive your counter-notice.

Repeat infringers

Each valid notice counts against the account that posted the material. In appropriate circumstances we suspend or permanently terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe, and we may remove all of their listings from Discover.
